Stitches and Hos invite you to their monthly hootenanny.

 

Our hootenannies are a chance to trade tips and tricks, meet new people and plan our stitch revolution whilst supping a pint.  

 

Tilt is a multi-functional space in Birmingham city centre that celebrates craft beer, speciality coffee and pinball.  They also currently offer 10 loose leaf teas, 5 hot chocolates, a range of soft drinks, wines and a small selection of spirits

Stitches and Hos are proud to announce the third edition of our fibre festival Yarningham.

 

Yarningham 2018 will feature an expanded marketplace and extended workshop programme.

 

Yarningham 2018 also has a new venue, Uffculme Centre.  Uffculme Centre was built in 1891 for Richard Cadbury and his family. Gifted to the city in 1916, it has now been converted into a training and conference centre.

Made in Kings Heath aims to bring together artists living and working in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham to share, exhibit and promote their work.  Founded by ceramicist Melanie Keevil and textile artist Emma Jackson, the first Made in Kings Heath event took place in the Autumn of 2014

 

This year the Open Studios Trail comprises of 3 venues showcasing 13 artists and makers.

We are delighted to have been invited by Tina Francis Tapestry to take part in the Winter Open Studios trail in the Jewellery Quarter.

 

Tina will be opening her studio on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December 2017 as part of Winter Open Studios.  Also taking part at Tina’s studio are printmaker Ruth Green and leathersmith Deborette Clarke (B18 Leather).
